OVERVIEW

Autumn is one of the most comfortable seasons in Hokkaido. Not too hot and not too cold, with a pleasant breeze and fiery autumn leaves vibrantly coloring the fields and forests.
September is the month of cosmos and coral grass, a sight limited to this season alone! It’s also harvest season, which means you can eat many delicious fruits and vegetables. Visit the farms to help in the fields and collect the food yourself! Relax by the views of beautiful lakes, a sea of clouds, and even a sea of sunflowers! One of the best ways to enjoy Hokkaido’s nature is on a horse, a great activity for all ages.
This program invites you to experience the beauty of rural Hokkaido, where the true treasures of the island are waiting to be found.

Many memories you end up taking home with you, but how about leaving your footprints on the island for Hokkaido to keep? Ashoro Town offers a fun footprint activity, your signature on the land! After lunch at a local restaurant, we take you to the beautiful Lake Onneto, famous for changing into 5 colors depending on the weather! Lake Akan is also famous for its beauty and location, which we invite you to enjoy on a relaxing cruise. The autumn breeze on a lake in the middle of Hokkaido is perfect to unwind! Check in to your hotel, but that’s not all for the night: join a star gazing tour at Tsubetsu Pass, a sight only possible in Hokkaido’s outback.

  4. DAY

    Tsubetsu - Abashiri

More breathtaking sights for today, with a sea of clouds first thing in the morning (depending on the weather).
