ITINERARY AT A GLANCE

  1. DAY

    Chitose Airport - Noboribetsu

After your arrival, we will head to Shiraoi. Shiraoi is a small town right at the ocean, famous for Ainu (Hokkaido Indigenous People), Shiraoi Beef (Ranked among highest in Japan, with Kobe Beef and Matsuzaka Beef), and the Funka Bay (where Shiraoi is located) is famous for fresh seafood, especially scallops. Best way to enjoy this: Barbecue right at the ocean! After a filling lunch, head for the most famous and most popular Onsen Town of Hokkaido: Noboribetsu. With nine different hot spring types, Noboribetsu can offer you what you need: skincare, relief for rheumatism, healing properties, encouraging blood circulation, and much more. Just sitting in the bath under the open sky is already good enough! Come and relax in nature's best.

  2. DAY

    Noboribetsu - Hakodate

We will head southward, to Hakodate, but on the way, we will enjoy some nice meals, including Soba at a Michelin rated Restaurant, with excellent Tempura.
Local Hamburger shops are also recommended!

Hakodate is an old port town in southern Hokkaido, with many unique churches and warehouses decorating the streets. Seafood, especially squid, is excellent here! Stay at the Onsen town ‘Yunokawa’ just outside of Hakodate, and enjoy the excellent seafood (Hakodate is famous for Squid and Tuna) together with a classic Japanese Onsen hotel.

  3. DAY

    Hakodate - Lake Toya

Start your day with breakfast at the Morning Fish Market of Hakodate. You should also try squid fishing!
After breakfast go to a local tea shop and try different types of Japanese tea. Lunch is Sukiyaki, if you like meat, this one is for you!
Your next stop is Lake Toya. Toya is a region with active volcanoes, which means more natural Onsen! Enjoy the great view over Lake Toya from your hotel room!

It is the best moment beyond your imagination to heal the tiredness of the day with an open-air bath that overlooks the lake.

  4. DAY

    Lake Toya - Sapporo

Take the cable car up Mt. Usu, a volcano in the morning. This area is very interesting, with new mountains being created within a short period of time! The most famous is Showa Shinzan, which used to be a wheat field until 1943, but then with Mt. Usu erupting, it turned into a 400m tall mountain! Great view over Lake Toya from here as well.

After Mt. Usu, we visit Otaru, a nostalgic port town near Sapporo City. Old bank buildings and warehouses are still left from the times when this town was thriving of herring fishing.
Enjoy the delicious seafood and shopping in this town, which is famous for glass, music boxes, cheese cake and chocolate.
For dinner, how about Wagyu Beef or a rich crab dinner in downtown Sapporo?

  5. DAY

    Sapporo

Enjoy a full day in Sapporo at your leisure. Apart from the many shopping facilities for you to explore, you can also visit the TV tower, Clock tower, Sapporo Beer Breweries, and more.
Don’t forget to try Sapporo Ramen, Genghis Khan or Soup Curry at one of the many restaurants downtown.

There are various kinds of food in this town, so there is no doubt that you can meet the best food for you!
Please consult us by all means!

  6. DAY

    Sapporo - Chitose Airport

Even the last day has to be enjoyed! Sapporo has many shopping facilities! Go shopping downtown or enjoy the shopping on the way, at one of the outlet malls near the airport. In case you didn’t have enough of Hokkaido’s delicacies, plenty of seafood and souvenirs are available for you to enjoy at the airport; there is even an Onsen there! We hope you were able to discover your treasure on this island!
