Thank you Treasure Island Travel, we've fallen in love with Hokkaido and are already talking about "next time". After our February "small group tour" with you, we wanted to see those wonderful sights without the snow. This time we wanted to drive ourselves and travel at our own pace. Megumi, your planning was perfect, a nice mix of accommodations and food, with each seeming better than the last. Driving was no problem, in fact it was easier than home, your roads and drivers are better. Your suggestions as to places for lunch on the road and sights to visit provided many pleasant memories. The Soba Making Class was truly a highlight. Also the map codes and telephone numbers you provided saved the day more than once. Your planning and attention to detail, both big and small made our travel almost effortless and an amazing trip. Hokkaido has boundless beauty and a never ending change of scenery. If you’re looking for “dramatic”, Hokkaido is a good place to start. We’re already talking about what we will do next time.

I was born in Niikappu(新冠)town in Hokkaido where is 2 hours away from Sapporo by car. My house is a farm for race horses, so I grew up surrounded by animals and nature. I have decided to come back to Hokkaido after studying and working abroad because I realized how beautiful Hokkaido is!! Hope you will love Hokkaido too!
