We were very ambitious with our itinerary and wanted to make many special arrangements. We chose a private tour with Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel because we had heard great reviews about them and they truly did not disappoint. It started with our correspondence with Kiyoka via email, where she was very responsive and forthcoming with her suggestions. On top of a list of activities we wanted to do (dog-sledding, snowmobiling, ice-fishing, snow-hiking and visiting certain attractions), we also planned for a surprise birthday celebration for my father, Valentine's day flowers for our significant others and a marriage proposal. Due to the immense amount of coordination required, Kiyoka reached out using Whatsapp. She was so dedicated to making the trip a successful and memorable one that we even video-called to finalise the arrangements. We are very appreciative of her efforts in customizing the trip to suit all our requests!
The next phase involved the conduct of the tour, to which much credit should be given to both Kiyoka and our tour driver/guide Hide-san. They worked very closely together and all our surprises went very well! It was very well-executed and successful. Because of them, Hokkaido will hold a special place in our hearts.
We look forward to coming back with Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel again.
