We can find new amazing spot everyday everywhere in Hokkaido! Lake Shikotsu is just 30 min away from New Chitose airport. Lake Shikotsu is the one of the clearest lake in Japan.

The best season to visit this area is in Summer as you will be surrounded by the fresh green forest, the pure water and fresh air! Do not miss in the underwater too!
Today I dived in the river called Chitose river! It was one of the clearest water visibility in my diving life, even though the guide told me that was not the best today!

It was shallow and easy comfortable drift dive. We just jump into the river with dry suits, yes! We need to wear dry suits in summer at Hokkaido! instead, you will enjoy comfortable river dive!

Once you put your face into the water, you will see the beautiful soft water grass everywhere. Then you will swim in the green water grass in the clear water.

If you are not diver? Don’t worry! You can experience this special moment with snorkeling! Even you can be on the kayak! They have special kayak called clear kayak which bottom are transparent. So even you can encounter scuba diver under your kayak!

Those area is the best location for the cycling too! After diving or before diving, please enjoy cycling too! Are you tired of aggressive driver? Why don’t you come to Hokkaido for riding with your road bike! Look at this!
