“Murakami Farm” is located in Eniwa, on the way from Shin-Chitose Airport to Sapporo. It is the only place in Hokkaido, where you can tour the farm on a Segway.

After you put on a helmet and hear the instructions, try hopping on a Segway. Riding a Segway is simply standing on it. Segway is a two-wheeled, electric-powered vehicle from America. The rider controls the speed and direction by shifting his/her weight.

You will be familiarizing yourself with a Segway in a practice area on the farm. In no time, you will have a full control, even driving it in a zig-zag pattern.

Let’s get out to the larger course on the farm!

Once you reach the area where the cows roam, you can get off of the Segway and feed the them.

Yum yum! They are happy to eat they hay. They are so cute.

Starting this season, a course through the field is newly available, and diagonal and zig-zag paths were installed.

You can actually “doodle” on “hay rolls”! Leave a message to commemorate your visit.

A serene farm, where you can hear the sounds of wild birds. Enjoy freely venturing around the farm during an allotted time.

A movie set, used by a local TV station, remains on the premises.

A soft-serve ice cream made with the milk from the farm. You must try it! It is very rich.
