Koshimizu is the town of about 5,000 people in the eastern side of Hokkaido, near Shiretoko national parks. This small town is rich in nature and surrounded by Hills, the Okhotsk sea and Lake Tofutsu which is registered under the Ramsar Convention. To your surprise, you can see more than 300 kinds of birds throughout the year! And also “Hogacha”, very popular snack nowadays, was born in this town.

You can enjoy Cycling and Bird watching from Spring to Autumn season.

Cycling on roads designed in a grid makes us feel better. The scenery of potato, wheat and beetroot fields are very beautiful and birdsongs is like the great BGM.

I went cycling on Jul but Autumn season is also beautiful and comfortable!!In winter, they have Hot Air Balloon or Snow Shoeing program. Let’s go to Koshimizu Town!
