We wanted it to be longer but then because of our schedule it was cut short and less time to arrange. It was then I contacted Hokkaido Travel 2 weeks before. They asked me our budget and presented the itinerary. Our travel coordinator was Megumi-san. Upon arrival to the last day, they will assist your every need. We were met at the hotel in Chitose in our 2nd day and Megumi kindly gave us hot packs for our chilling adventure. So we were off to the Ainu Village, then took us to a bakery famous for cheese cakes, then to early lunch to an off beaten path Steak House for a taste of the Shirao beef. Off to the Hell Valley and Finally for a cable car ride and trek to Mt Usu. It was a tiring and we reached our hotel at Lake Toya at 5:30. We were welcomed by a sip of a very hot soup and a taste of eggs cooked in Onsen. On our second day, we were off to a Farm Hill bakery for our waffle and ice cream making then onto Snow Activities. It is a family filled activities of hiking to a snow filled lanscape and igloo house. Then to sledding and snow ball fight. Then to snow shoeing to foot deep snow and rope gliding. Finally we were placed in a back hoe type machine to be dumped in snow. My grown up kids loved it then onwards to Sapporo. Our day 3 is free and easy atound Sapporo. Fun filled Family Winter Fun is what I asked for and they obliged. And our travel driver Kato San kindly took pictures of our adventures. We had great pictures of our Family trip. Will book again!

I was born in Niikappu(新冠)town in Hokkaido where is 2 hours away from Sapporo by car. My house is a farm for race horses, so I grew up surrounded by animals and nature. I have decided to come back to Hokkaido after studying and working abroad because I realized how beautiful Hokkaido is!! Hope you will love Hokkaido too!
